Don't miss out on a simple FHIR class where you connect to a real EHR test system.
Cerner has an open FHIR server for developers! I wanted to share how to connect to it in Mirth. This is information you can't find anywhere else. Cerner's document is all SMART on FHIR. They don't show you how to connect Mirth.
This class is specifically Mirth to Cerner - a direct connection.
You will retrieve Device data from Cerner's FHIR test system in JSON format. As of now, Cerner only is JSON compliant. It doesn't return FHIR Resources in XML format.
These are the 4 easy steps you will find inside the class.
1) Watch video
2) Download/Import/Save Mirth Channel
3) Send GET Request
4) Receive Cerner FHIR Response in JSON Format
Class includes a ready-to-use Mirth channel to connect to Cerner today!
You will need Mirth 3.3.1 or above. This Mirth link and all other links are inside the course.
